You do not need to know why or what needs to heal before the session. That is not your responsibility. In a shamanic healing session the shaman asks the helping spirits what needs to be done. You must have a need and know that you are ready for change to meet that need. |

Why shamanic healing? For people who experience chronic mental, physical, or emotional pain, depression, or addictions, shamanic healing can be a means to reach the source of that pain in spirit and release that pattern of suffering from your life. It is a way to heal deep soul traumas without re-traumatizing yourself or giving up your power to a healer/teacher. Shamanic healing is a path for restoring joy and meaning to life for people who suffer the ills of contemporary life: stress, the sense that life has no meaning, and the unfulfilled desire to affect the lives of others. New life skills enable you to fully participate in your contemporary life while remaining connected to spirit in a daily way. For people who enjoy their lives, but sense that there is more out there, shamanic healing provides the skills to reach into your soul's desire. The sacred technologies provide the means to walk a spiritual path on practical, yet passionate, feet and explore your full potential. ![]() |

Soul Retrieval SessionsFrom a shamanic point of view part of the soul may split off, or dissociate, when we experience trauma or abuse. The soul part that splits off, slips into the spirit realm and out of time, becoming lost or stuck and leaving a hole in the soul that remains with the body. The shaman journeys on behalf of the client to retrieve lost soul parts, fill the hole, and restore the integrity of the client's life-force. Possible symptoms of soul loss are:

Soul Part Integration SessionsOnce soul parts are retrieved, they need to be integrated back into the client's vital life-force. The healing is deepened when the integration is done through shamanic journeying. In soul part integration sessions, the client learns to journey to establish their own relationship with spirit teachers and power animals. The client calls on these spirit helpers for guidance in working with the soul parts to discover what they need to heal and complete their integration. ![]() |

Power Retrieval SessionsIn a power retrieval session, the shaman retrieves a power animal or other helping spirit from non-ordinary reality for the client. This restores the client's power to protect and maintain their physical integrity. Chronic illnesses, chronic depression, or chronic misfortune may be the result of power loss. ![]() Extraction and CleansingWhen a person experiences a soul loss, an opening is created in their vital life-force. Other energies may enter that opening and compete for the individual's vital life-force. In an extraction session localized, intrusive energies are removed. In a cleansing, generalized energies are cleared from the body to enable the free flow of vital life-force energy. ![]() Shamanic CounselingShamanic counseling is a process of personal empowerment and problem solving, and reconnection with spirit. The helping spirits are the "counselors." The shaman is there to teach the shamanic journeying technique and to empower the client to use it. It is a powerful process for integrating soul parts after a soul retrieval session. Shamanic counseling is not psychotherapy. It is a process for establishing and developing a relationship of two-way communication with spirit. ![]() Sponsoring shamanic healing in your areaCheck the calendar page for information on the locations and dates that shamanic healing is being offered around the country.
