Elemental Homes and Families

Each person has a special connection, an Elemental Home, with one of the four elements: Air, Fire, Water or Earth. A person’s Elemental Home is the direction on the Medicine Wheel where their strength and greatest lessons lie. If you do not know which of the four elements is your Elemental Home, please read the article “Determining Your Elemental Home” and do the journeys to discover your Elemental Home. As a community we are still learning about the power in identifying and working with one’s Elemental Home.

 

We use the phrase Elemental Families to describe those community members who share the same Elemental Home. The majority of the members of Land Spirit Council are of the Earth Element. We see evidence that those of us who share a common Elemental Home have special bonds, like an ordinary family, that can support our growth and hold some of life’s greatest lessons for us.
